All policies

Effective July 2026

1. Our community standards

Afrotierre is a marketplace built on respect, craftsmanship, and trust. This Acceptable Use Policy describes the conduct, content, and listings we do not allow on the platform. It applies to everyone — buyers, sellers, and visitors.

2. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or impersonate any person.
  • Use the marketplace for any illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
  • Circumvent fees, verification, or buyer-protection by moving conversations or payments off-platform.
  • Scrape, crawl, or copy the site or its content without our written permission.
  • Interfere with the marketplace's security, integrity, or performance.

3. Prohibited content & listings

The following may not be listed, posted, or shared on Afrotierre:

  • Counterfeit, stolen, or recalled goods.
  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives, and items that mimic them.
  • Drugs, drug paraphernalia, tobacco, and unregulated supplements.
  • Hazardous materials, live animals, and human remains or body parts.
  • Items that infringe intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights.
  • Hate speech, sexually explicit content, content that exploits minors, or content that incites violence.

4. Reviews & messaging

Reviews must reflect a genuine experience with the seller or item. Sellers may not solicit, incentivise, or retaliate against reviews. Messaging is for transaction-related communication and respectful conversation; spam and unsolicited promotion are not allowed.

5. Reporting violations

If you see content that breaks these rules, use the "Report" link on the listing, profile, message, or review. Our moderation team reviews every report and takes appropriate action, which may include removing content, restricting features, or terminating the account responsible.

6. Enforcement

Violations may result in warnings, listing removal, loss of selling privileges, payout holds, or account termination. Serious or repeated violations may be reported to the relevant authorities where required by law.
