All policies

Effective July 2026

1. Our commitment

Afrotierre is committed to making the marketplace usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and continually improve the experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

2. What we've implemented

  • Semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, and skip-to-content links to support assistive technologies.
  • Sufficient colour contrast and a built-in accessibility widget for font sizing, contrast, and motion controls.
  • Keyboard-navigable interface with visible focus states throughout.
  • Alternative text on meaningful images and captions on key media.
  • Form fields with associated labels and clear error messages.

3. Areas we are still improving

Some seller-uploaded content (such as photos and PDFs) may not yet meet our accessibility goals. We are working with sellers to improve alt text, captions, and document structure across the catalogue.

4. Feedback & support

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on Afrotierre, please tell us so we can fix it. Email accessibility@afrotierre.com with a description of the issue, the page URL, and the assistive technology you use. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

5. Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may also contact the relevant accessibility regulator in your jurisdiction.
